Terms of service
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms cover your use of this website. Paid work is governed by a separate signed agreement — nothing on this site is an offer, a quote, or advice you should act on without talking to us first.
1. Who you are dealing with
This website at willmachi.com is operated by Willmachi Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 14540910, registered office 8 Raite Green, Sittingbourne, England, ME10 5JY, VAT registration number GB 516 5415 02. You can reach us at info@willmachi.com.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
2. What this site is, and what it is not
This site describes what we do. It is marketing material. It is not:
- an offer capable of acceptance, or a quotation
- professional, security, legal, tax, regulatory or financial advice, and it must not be relied on as any of those
- a warranty that any described outcome will be achieved in your environment
Statements about compliance frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR and similar — describe the kind of work we help clients carry out. They are not a claim that WillMachi holds those certifications, and they are not a promise that engaging us will result in your organisation obtaining one. Certification is awarded by the relevant body on its own assessment.
Engagements are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, setting out scope, fees, timescales and liability. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails for the work it covers.
3. Using the site
You may view, download and print pages for your own use or your organisation’s internal use. You must not:
- use the site unlawfully, or in a way that damages it, impairs its availability, or interferes with anyone else’s use of it
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it is hosted on, or any connected system
- scrape, mine or systematically extract content for the purpose of building or training a competing product or dataset, without our written permission
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
Some of this conduct is also a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Where we believe an offence has been committed we will report it and cooperate with the authorities.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, design, layout, graphics, animations, source code and the WillMachi name and marks — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Nothing here transfers any of those rights to you.
You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back. Anything beyond that — republication, adaptation, or commercial reuse — needs our written permission first.
Third-party names and marks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, partnership or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.
5. Availability
We provide this site on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free of anything harmful. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it at any time without notice, and we are not liable to you if we do.
We take reasonable care over the accuracy of what we publish, but content may become out of date, and we do not undertake to keep it current.
6. Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site, we do so for convenience. We have no control over its content and accept no responsibility for it, for any loss arising from your use of it, or for its privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded
Subject to that, and in relation to your use of this website only:
- we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that would otherwise be implied by statute, common law or equity, to the fullest extent permitted by law;
- we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of data, loss of goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however arising; and
- our total liability in connection with your use of this site is limited to £100.
These limits apply to the website. Liability for paid work is dealt with in the engagement agreement for that work, not here.
If you are a consumer rather than a business user, these limits do not affect your statutory rights, and you may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that we cannot reduce.
8. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies, so please check the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues in force. If we delay enforcing a right, that is not a waiver of it.
